ARGANS is an independent customer orientated industrial company of highly-skilled and innovative scientists and engineers working with remote sensing (airborne and satellite) data and geographical information systems (GIS) to map and monitor the marine, atmospheric and terrestrial environments. ARGANS was established as a Private Limited UK Company in 2007 with the operational base as Plymouth, which allowed it to connect to the University of Plymouth and wider South West through the Tamar Science Park. In 2010, a second office was opened at the Harwell Science & Innovation Centre, alongside the European Space Agency's (ESA) UK centre and the International Space Innovation Centre (ISIC). The company works with Space Agencies such ESA and NASA alongside UK, European and International partners (companies, research institutes and universities).
