GAMMA is a Swiss corporation (Aktiengesellschaft - AG) located near Bern, Switzerland.It was founded in January 1995 by Dr. Charles Werner and Dr. Urs Wegmüller. In general, the objective of GAMMA is to conduct research studies and to provide consulting and processing services in the field of microwave remote sensing. The topics include signal processing, microwave signature interpretation, retrieval algorithm development, and modeling activities. Additionally, GAMMA provides licenses for its user-friendly and high quality SAR processing (MSP) and SAR interferometry (ISP), Differential SAR Interferometry and Geocoding (DIFF&GEO), Interferometric Point Target Analysis (IPTA), and Land Application Tools (LAT) software packages, which are in use at a number of leading research institutes. GAMMA offers processing services, and value adding, consulting in the field of microwave remote sensing, and the GAMMA Portable Radar Interferometer (GPRI) and related services.
